Morocco is hosting the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, with the tournament scheduled from 25 July to 16 August 2026. CAF originally scheduled the competition for March and April before announcing revised dates in March 2026. The continental governing body said the change followed discussions with its partners, FIFA and other stakeholders. Morocco had previously been awarded the hosting rights for the tournament in October 2024. The competition adds another major international football event to Morocco's growing schedule of hosting responsibilities. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has continued publishing updates around the Moroccan women's national team during the tournament period. CAF said preparations were underway when it announced the revised schedule and expressed confidence in the organization of the competition.
